We are the family behind the scenes at COLORADO AKK.  As you can see, we like to stay very busy and if you mix our entire "human" race with our AKK clan, you get what we like to endearingly refer to as our "controlled chaos".  :)

When puppies are adopted from us, their new owners can rest assure that their AKK has gotten the best loving care possible and has been socialized to create a very outgoing companion.  We also like to begin training simple obedience commands very early on.  We teach these commands in German.  Studies have shown that with canine breeds similar to that of the Alaskan Klee Kai, German commands seem to be more effective if taught from very early in puppyhood.
